Anna Silk is a Fredericton resident, and is the daughter of Peter Silk, who was an academic. The mother of her, Ilkay Silk, had many talents, including being able perform, direct and produce plays, as well as write them as well as teach and serve as Director of Drama for St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the child of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. At the beginning of her career, Anna appeared on several commercials for television. Anna moved out of Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman met Anna at an Los Angeles actor's workshops in 2007. The couple got engaged.
